Bassa Cross Stitch Pattern

If you’ve ever wanted to be a little “subtle” in how you’re feeling, the Bassa cross stitch pattern might just be for you. These Jacobean-era inspired flowers feature gorgeous vibrant colours and shining Japan Threads and beads. This pretty pattern bears the Scottish word “bassa” which translates to “bastard.” If the text isn’t to your taste for the pattern, you could add in your own text with any of the cross stitch alphabet charts, or you could stitch the pattern without the text, there’s an example photograph showing what it looks like without text.
