Drift Art Print
Drift is a giclée art print featuring a beautiful Green Sea Turtle. This beautiful creature is drifting near the surface of the ocean, creating an unusual reflection in the water. The Green Sea Turtle is no longer listed as endangered, but it’s still at risk from human activity such as warming oceans due to climate change, and being caught as bycatch from commercial fisheries. This painting features vibrant teals and blues that are punctuated by vivid green, and contrast against the beautiful dark patterned shell of the turtle.
The original painting is painted in oils on panel, and is one of six prints in the Reflections Collection. This series was inspired by the new David Attenborough documentary “Ocean,” and was painted to raise money for the rebuilding of the Whale Interpretive Centre in Telegraph Cove (tragically lost to fire Dec 31, 2024). Currently the original paintings are for sale at the Orca Spirit Adventures gallery in Victoria BC, 50% of the sale of the originals will be donated to the WIC. The other paintings in the Reflections Collection (as seen in the photos) are Surface Curiosity, Soundings, Resonance, Tideplay, and Glidepath. All of the paintings feature a reflection in the water — this is the junction between the air and the sea, which symbolizes the connection that we all have with the marine environment. The ocean creates more than half of our planet’s oxygen, so we must do what we can to protect this fragile environment as it literally creates the conditions of life for us.

Eyes of the Deep Art Print
Eyes of the Deep is a giclée art print featuring a soulful harbour seal pup resting on the sandy beach. Soft pinks and golds contrast with the vivid white of the seal pup, and the beautiful black markings add a special personality to the pup as each seals markings are unique. The pup may be “hauled out,” which is when seal pups are left on rocks or the beach by their mother while she hunts for them. Often the pups or adults that are hauled out are on the land coinciding with the tides — when the tides are higher, they can more easily return to the water, so it’s vital that seals not be disturbed when they are hauled out (particularly pups, they are not abandoned as some may assume). Harbour seals are a wonderful playful creature and are an indication of a healthy ecosystem, and are often found hunting in the kelp forests along the coastline.
The original painting is painted in oils on cradled birch panel, and was exhibited at the 2025 Little Gems Show in the Bay Centre, Victoria BC. Other images featured in the photos are Afternoon Snack and Guardian of the Kelp.
15% of the proceeds of this print will be donated to marine conservation and education organizations.

Glidepath Art Print
Glidepath is a giclée art print featuring several majestic Giant Manta Rays. These beautiful creatures are gliding gracefully through the ocean, travelling together in a “squadron.” Giant Manta Rays are listed as being endangered, they are often caught as bycatch from commercial fisheries, and are fished for their meat and gill plates for specialty markets. This painting features deep greens that almost obscure these beautiful fluid creatures, which contrast against the pale blue sky and sparkling surface reflections.
Guardian of the Kelp Art Print
Guardian of the Kelp is a giclée art print featuring a sea otter floating in the ocean, likely with a clam or mollusc clasped tightly in its paws. With vibrant purples and cool mints contrasting with the dark textured fur, this striking image shows a species on the comeback. Along the Pacific Northwest coastline, sea otters were hunted to near-extinction for their thick dense fur in the 18th and 19th centuries. They have a million hairs per square inch (the size of a Canadian loonie) which keeps them warm and dry in the frigid ocean. They are also a keystone species — they help control sea urchin populations, which can devastate and destroy kelp forests. Kelp forests are massive carbon sinks on the planet, absorbing more CO₂ than the same sized redwood forest. Kelp forests are also the home of so much life from harbour seals to crabs to starfish to the Great Pacific Octopus. If kelp forests disappear, so too does so much other marine life, and oceans will continue to warm. Sea otters are vital in keeping the ecosystem in balance, and their slow revival is something to be celebrated and protected in our increasingly busy oceans.
The original painting is painted in oils on cradled birch panel, and was exhibited at the 2025 Little Gems Show in the Bay Centre, Victoria BC. Other images featured in the photos are Eyes of the Deep and Afternoon Snack.

Inner Harbour Dream Art Print
Inner Harbour Dream is a giclée art print featuring the beautiful Victoria inner harbour in British Columbia. The inner harbour is world famous for the beautiful BC Legislature (Provincial government buildings), the lovely new Johnson Street bridge, as well as the float planes that have their airport in the inner harbour. This vibrant painting also features some of the kelp forests under the ocean waves, the kelp forests sustain life along our coastline and can capture more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than a redwood forest of the same size. The original painting is painted in acrylics on a wooden panel as a local private commission.
15% of the proceeds of this print will be donated to marine conservation and education organizations.

Pacific Northwest Botanicals Art Print
Hand painted gouache botanicals from the Pacific Northwest coastal region, featuring deciduous and evergreen trees, florals, botanicals, & sea plants. These paintings were done as part of a 100 Day Project, one painting a day for 100 days. They are based on the plants featured in the book “Saanich Ethnobotany: Culturally Important Plants of the WSANEC People” (Saanich is a region in Victoria, British Columbia). Some of the paintings were done on pages of vintage forestry and flora reports and books. Most of these plants and botanicals are found all along the Pacific Northwest coast, including Vancouver Island and the Vancouver Lower Mainland region, Washington State, and Oregon State. This print also comes with a downloadable PDF “map” of what each plant is, it will be available to download after purchase.
The Pacific Northwest Botanicals art print was included in a birthday gift box for His Majesty King Charles III, by the Prince’s Trust of Canada. Such an incredible honour to represent Canadian veteran artists and business owners. ❤️

Saunders Grocery and Liquor Store, and it was built in 1890 in the Victorian Italianate style. It is one of the more colourful buildings along “LoJo,” with its vibrant cobalt blue and bright green facade. It’s also known for the arcade which has a gorgeous wrought iron gate to secure it at night, the arcade currently features many shops along the corridor. Queen Frederika Art Print
Queen Frederika is a giclée art print featuring the showstopping Queen Frederika Fluevog boot as a vase full of bright vibrant blooms. John Fluevog has been designing shoes for over fifty years, and is beloved around the world (and particularly in British Columbia as he’s from Vancouver where the head office still is). The Queen Frederika boots feature an incredible column-style heel (with their own special Fluevog-heiroglyphics on the underside), and these particular boots are the only ones like them in the world as the pink heel has been paired with the patent leather mint boot. An energetic bouquet bursts from the boot, echoing the fun and drama that these boots bring to the wearer and all those around them. And yes, the boots are surprisingly comfortable… 😍 The original painting is painted in oils on panel, and was sold to a private collector.

Resonance Art Print
Resonance is a giclée art print featuring a magnificent Humpback Whale. This majestic creature is spyhopping (popping up to look above the water), creating a unique reflection at the ocean’s surface. The Humpback Whale is no longer listed as endangered, and along the Pacific Northwest coast it has made a remarkable comeback. However, it’s still at risk from human activity such as vessel strikes in our increasingly busy waterways, and being entangled by gear from commercial fisheries (often called ghost gear). This painting features deep blues and chromium greens that are punctuated by the white of the underside of the whale, and contrast against the pale sky.
River Otter Meadow Art Print
The River Otter Meadow giclée art print depicts a sweet river otter surrounded by a meadow of flowers. This whimsical art print bursts with chromium greens, deep darks, and cheeful yellows. The original painting is painted in oils on panel, and is currently for sale at the Orca Spirit Adventures gallery in Victoria BC, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to marine conservation and education organizations.
Please note that there are two variations of this print available — one that is slightly cropped top and bottom, and one that is the original art which is longer and narrower. For paper prints, the original art will result in a slightly larger margin of white paper on both sides to accommodate the taller image. Canvas prints are available for both versions, please see the images to look at the differences in proportions.

Sea Wolf Art Print
Sea Wolf is a giclée art print featuring a stunning Sea Wolf in the ocean, showcasing its marine habitat. This mysterious creature is rarely seen by humans, and is only found along the Pacific Northwest coast in the entire world. They are a sub-species of Grey Wolf (they are also called Coastal Wolves), and 85% of their diet comes directly from the ocean and their marine environment. Recently footage of Sea Wolves learning to use tools to find food (which is very rare in the animal kingdom) has been captured — the wolves have learned how to haul crab traps out of the water to eat the bait, and they’re teaching each other how to do it. Their coats also reflect the marine environment with their rusty seaweed colours, and they are thicker to protect them from the frigid ocean water as they swim from island to island. There is still so much to discover about these elusive mammals, but they are a vital part of the PNW marine ecosystem as an apex predator.
This painting features warm greens and browns, and the surface of the ocean reflects the wolf in a very striking way. The original painting is painted in oils on canvas mounted to panel, and the reference image is used with permission of the wonderful BC photographer and conservationist Ian McAllister. This painting was inspired by the new David Attenborough documentary “Ocean,” that film was heartbreaking (and yet hopeful), and was the inspiration to paint wildlife to help raise awareness of these magical creatures and the world that we need to protect. The original of this painting is currently for sale at the Orca Spirit Adventures gallery in Victoria BC, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to marine conservation and education organizations.

Soundings Art Print
Soundings is a giclée art print featuring a gorgeous Humpback Whale. This majestic creature is either spyhopping or about to breach, piercing the ocean’s surface. The Humpback Whale is no longer listed as endangered, and along the Pacific Northwest coast it has made a remarkable comeback. Unfortunately, it’s still at risk from human activity such as vessel strikes in our increasingly busy waterways, and being entangled by gear from commercial fisheries (often called ghost gear).

Surface Curiosity Art Print
Surface Curiosity is a giclée art print featuring a gorgeous California Sea Lion. This curious creature is swimming at the surface of the ocean, creating a striking reflection in the water. The California Sea Lion is not listed as endangered, but it’s still at risk from human activity such as warming oceans due to climate change affecting their food sources, as well as algal blooms and entanglements in commercial fishing gear (often called ghost gear). This painting features vibrant teals that contrast against the expressive pale sky and sparkling reflections. An easy way to tell the difference between Steller Sea Lions and California Sea Lions on a beach other than their size and colouring (as they’re often found fishing together) is their sounds — California Sea Lions make a “barking” sound, and Steller Sea Lions make a low deep loud roaring/grumbling sound. Stellers are also much bigger than Californias, they can be over twice the size and males can weigh over a ton.
Tideplay Art Print
Tideplay is a giclée art print featuring several playful Steller Sea Lions. These massive creatures are swimming just under the surface of the ocean, creating a unique reflection in the water. Steller Sea Lions are endangered in parts of the US (or “Special Concern” in other locations), and they are very vulnerable to human activity such as warming oceans due to climate change, oil spills, and being entagled by gear from commercial fisheries (also known as ghost gear). This painting features deep blues and greens, punctuated by oranges as the sunlight reflects off their sandy-rust coloured bodies. Fun fact, an easy way to tell the difference between Steller Sea Lions and California Sea Lions on a beach other than their size and colouring (as they’re often found fishing together) is their sounds — California Sea Lions make a “barking” sound, and Steller Sea Lions make a low deep loud roaring/grumbling sound.
