Welcome to the illustration and surface pattern design portfolio of Dana Batho, the artist and designer of Peacock & Fig. I am influenced from vintage design and art. Some of my favourite eras are the Arts & Crafts Movement, Art Nouveau, and the Victorian era. I am also a lover of the Hollywood Regency Glam interior design aesthetic, which I explain as “Versailles meets IKEA meets drag queens.” I specialize in botanical-based surface pattern designs and spot illustrations, and I adore the home decor market (particularly wallpaper and upholstery fabric). I create predominantly using a mix of analog and digital softwares, such as watercolour, dip ink pens, Procreate, and Adobe Illustrator.

For a complete list of shows that I have exhibited in, as well as my press features and publications please visit the Peacock & Fig press page. Fabric, wallpaper, and other products that can be purchased with my art can be found on the home decor page. To find out more about me, please visit my about page.

I would love to provide design support to you to create bespoke designs for your clients, or license existing artwork for your needs. Whether you’re an art director looking for a collection of work, an interior designer wanting one special custom wallpaper design for your best client, or a company looking to use my art on your products, I would love to collaborate with you. For licensing queries of existing work, please contact my agent Lisa Larsen at Lisa Larsen Studio. Otherwise, email me at dana@peacockandfig.com or via the contact form below to get started, I can’t wait to see what projects I can help you bring to life.
