Adulthood Cross Stitch Pattern
Remember when you were a little kid and you wanted to grow up SO BAD…. yeah, that turned out well for most of us…😂😂 In case you’re finding adulting harder than your eight-year-old self anticipated, the Adulthood cross stitch pattern should help you giggle at the absurdity of how we all got what we wished for (and then some). This pretty pattern uses only full cross stitches, so even if you are stitching and relaxing with a drink in your hand, you won’t have any pesky backstitch or complicated stitches screwing up your vibe. This pattern can also be customized to change out the word “booze” for anything that fits your lifestyle.

Featured in Issue 5 of XStitch Magazine, “Be the Villain” represents how our outer well-groomed appearance can mask our darker side.

In case these scenarios are ringing a bell, the Face That Cares cross stitch pattern is a perfect “reminder” to anyone in your home about your general attitude when they come to you with their trivial woes, or it’s an “ideal” gift to say you care … 😂 The Face That Cares design was inspired by the designer’s childhood in a beautiful 70-acre orchard in British Columbia’s Okanagan region, with this idyllic setting punctured by her father’s constant cheeky retort to her and her brother, “Does this look like a face that cares?!?” Fun fact, he STILL says this to family and friends… 😂 This cross stitch pattern was featured in Issue 12 (Noir) of XStitch Magazine.
False Dandelion Cross Stitch Pattern
This vibrant False Dandelion cross stitch pattern is derived from an original gouache and dip ink pen painting done during a 100 Day Project about Saanich plants and their indigineous use (Victoria, BC). False Dandelion is also called Hairy Cat’s Ear, is a plant similar to Dandelion but it has multiple stems and flowerheads per plant, and the leaves are fuzzy (or “hairy”) and lie flat to the ground. The loose watercolour-esque wash of yellow and orange tones contrasts with the detailed delicate linework of the False Dandelion.
As a bonus, this pattern also comes with a 20% discount code for any of the alphabet patterns on the site, in case you wanted to add your own quotes or text to the design.
This cross stitch pattern is also available in the Sketchy Blooms Cross Stitch Pattern Set.
