Memories of Japan Cross Stitch Pattern
The Memories of Japan cross stitch pattern was featured in Issue 9 (Orient) of XStitch Magazine, and is based on the designer’s own experiences living in Japan for four years. It’s a country of deep traditions in culture and crafts, and amazing places like Miyajima with its famous torii (gate) and crazy monkeys. It’s a country of juxtapositions, from beautiful sights like the incredible cherry blossoms to the cacophany of a Japanese city street at night. Japan is a fascinating country of beauty, colours, and traditions, and a small taste of this is reflected in the Memories of Japan cross stitch pattern.

Face That Cares Cross Stitch Pattern
Have you ever been asked an incredibly stupid question, or just keep getting pestered and pestered and pestered and you cannot bring yourself to muster any cares anymore? In case these scenarios are ringing a bell, the Face That Cares cross stitch pattern is a perfect “reminder” to anyone in your home about your general attitude when they come to you with their trivial woes, or it’s an “ideal” gift to say you care … 😂 The Face That Cares design was inspired by the designer’s childhood in a beautiful 70-acre orchard in British Columbia’s Okanagan region, with this idyllic setting punctured by her father’s constant cheeky retort to her and her brother, “Does this look like a face that cares?!?” Fun fact, he STILL says this to family and friends… 😂 This cross stitch pattern was featured in Issue 12 (Noir) of XStitch Magazine.
