The Shine On cross stitch pattern started as a pretty illustration, and within a few months was featured in Issue 19 of XStitch Magazine (the Yay issue) as a cross stitch pattern. Ladybugs are a symbol of good luck and prosperity, and are so pretty to look at in a garden of beautiful flowers.
