Raptors Art Print

Raptors is a giclée art print featuring nine members of the Raptors (or birds of prey) bird family. “Raptors” comes from the Latin word rapere, meaning “to seize or grasp.” Raptors are known for their three “sharps” — sharp eyesight, sharp hearing, and sharp talons. These illustrations were created for the annual The 100 Day Project in 2025, in this case the project was 100 Days of Inked Birds. Using ink pens and watercolours, one small bird illustration was carefully created each day. This print features an Eastern Screech Owl, a Peregrine Falcon, a Turkey Vulture, a Barn Owl, an American Kestrel, a Cooper’s Hawk, a Red-tailed Hawk, a Bald Eagle, and a Eurasian Eagle Owl. Raptors are known for being incredibly intelligent birds, and they are stealthy and powerful hunters. The print features a creamy white background to give the bird illustrations a touch of a vintage vibe. Other prints in this series are Corvids, Shorebirds, Songbirds, and Waterfowl. PAPER DETAILS:

Printed on Archival, Ph-neutral, OBA-free Strathmore. 400 gsm, Textured Soft-White Paper with Archival Pigment Inks.

The 9″x12″ paper print version of this art print comes with a 1/4″ white border top and bottom and the 18″x24″ paper print version comes with a 1/2″ border top and bottom for ease of framing.

CANVAS DETAILS:

Professionally wrapped canvas print on satin-finish canvas. Comes with a sawtooth hanger installed. The canvas edge will be black and .75″ deep. If you’d prefer the hanger not be installed or if you’d prefer a white edge instead of black, please leave a note at checkout.

At this time, orders for delivery outside of Canada and the US must be arranged before placing an order on the website in order to get a shipping quote for your country. All added customs fees and taxes (for orders outside Canada and the US) are buyer’s responsibility.

Please allow up to seven business days to receive tracking information after placing an order. I’m a one-woman business. ❤️ The orders are being printed and shipped from a professional giclée printer in Canada.

All orders are shipped by UPS (no customs fees or duties for US or Canadian addresses). Please confirm your shipping address is correct at checkout.

In the event that you’re unhappy with your print, I will issue a full refund, minus shipping. Return shipping is buyer’s responsibility. If you receive a damaged order, please let me know within 24 hours of receipt with photographs of the damage so I can replace accordingly.
