Poppies in the Wind Cross Stitch Pattern

(3 customer reviews)

$8.99

The Poppies in the Wind modern cross stitch pattern is a beautiful stitched illustration commemorating the sacrifices of those who have served their country. The poppy is an incredibly symbolic flower, and this delicate pattern honours dedicated military men and women, many of whom never came home. This pattern is simple to stitch as there are so few colours, and the back stitch detail of the petals gives the illusion the petals are being blown apart in the wind. This stunning modern cross stitch pattern will be a beautiful symbolic accent to any decor. This a PDF download, so you can purchase it and get started on your newest project right away.

I haven’t started this pattern yet, but I can’t wait to get going on it. My husband is currently serving in the army. I have several veteran friends and active members. My grandfather was a soldier, as well. This pattern will truly mean so much to me to do. It’s beautiful.

Awww thanks so much Allyson, appreciate it. I’m glad you have such a strong military tradition in your family. 🙂

  2. Jo Campbell

This is such a beautifully created chart, we lost family members during, the wars and in following conflicts, I will be adding family names onto this as a memorial piece. Thank you for such a wonderful and poignant design.

  3. Kathleen

As a retired Army nurse I love the simple elegance of this pattern.. The confetti looked a little daunting but instead of white fabric I’m using a fabric with a poppy background from Fabric Flair.
