The Signature Collection of cross stitch patterns features a range of floral, art, and seasonal patterns that Peacock & Fig has become known for. These patterns are all 4″ x 4″ in size or bigger (as stitched on 14 count fabric). They are all designed using full stitches (no fractionals), and only some have backstitch. These patterns have limited colour palettes to make stitching easier and more enjoyable. The number of colours range from 7 to 33 for these patterns, so even beginners can start on any of these patterns with confidence!

Be the Villain Cross Stitch Pattern

Feel like getting a little stabby? Maybe the “Be The Villain” cross stitch pattern can help you out… 😂 When people ask me what I do, I often say, “I help people relax by stabbing something 20,000 times.” This dark humour reminded me of many villains, and I was inspired by the cool elegance of Bond villains in particular. Featured in Issue 5 of XStitch Magazine, “Be the Villain” represents how our outer well-groomed appearance can mask our darker side.

Face That Cares Cross Stitch Pattern

Have you ever been asked an incredibly stupid question, or just keep getting pestered and pestered and pestered and you cannot bring yourself to muster any cares anymore? In case these scenarios are ringing a bell, the Face That Cares cross stitch pattern is a perfect “reminder” to anyone in your home about your general attitude when they come to you with their trivial woes, or it’s an “ideal” gift to say you care … 😂 The Face That Cares design was inspired by the designer’s childhood in a beautiful 70-acre orchard in British Columbia’s Okanagan region, with this idyllic setting punctured by her father’s constant cheeky retort to her and her brother, “Does this look like a face that cares?!?” Fun fact, he STILL says this to family and friends… 😂 This cross stitch pattern was featured in Issue 12 (Noir) of XStitch Magazine.

Memories of Japan Cross Stitch Pattern

The Memories of Japan cross stitch pattern was featured in Issue 9 (Orient) of XStitch Magazine, and is based on the designer’s own experiences living in Japan for four years. It’s a country of juxtapositions, from beautiful sights like the incredible cherry blossoms to the cacophany of a Japanese city street at night. Japan is a fascinating country of beauty, colours, and traditions, and a small taste of this is reflected in the Memories of Japan cross stitch pattern.

Thank You Cross Stitch Pattern
Thank You cross stitch pattern
Thank You Cross Stitch Pattern

Tell those in your life that they matter, that you see them, that you thank them. Whether it’s your child’s teacher, your local shop owner who goes above and beyond, first responders who keep you safe, or the healthcare workers that keep you and your family healthy, they all appreciate a sincere thank you so deeply. This pattern can be adjusted to allow space to add in a name as shown in the images. An alphabet is not included in this pattern, but there are several alphabet charts available to purchase (the Backstitch Alphabets chart in particular would be great for this pattern, as the pattern itself is quite small at 4″ high by 6″ wide on 14 count). This pattern is also perfect for using up bits of leftover floss, as it’s only two sets of colours (a lighter and a darker of each) which can be easily changed to your taste. And because this pattern is smaller, it’s easy to stitch up multiple times, to say thank you to all those in your life who you appreciate so much.

Mermaid Tales Cross Stitch Pattern Set

Welcome to the Mermaid Tales cross stitch pattern set! This four-part series started as a stitchalong, and is now available as a standalone set! Featuring four individual patterns (Cold Rock, Telescope, Mirror Mirror, and Mermaid Struggles), this set is perfect for adding a bit of sass and bling to your home. These designs are inspired by an online conversation in which someone was complaining about crocheted mermaid tails for girls, saying “Why on earth would you want your daughter to dress like a fish whore???” Of course much hilarity ensued, and the idea for these patterns was born. 🙂 The elegant beads and metallic threads contrast with the snarky text on each pattern, making these patterns a unique addition to your stash.
