Watercolour and Stitched Greeting Card
Materials used:
- M. Graham watercolours (Quinacridone Violet and Quinacridone Rose)
- Watercolour brush (the brand I’m using is The Pigeon Letters)
- Watercolour paper (the one I’m using is the Hahnemuhle Bamboo Mixed Media Pad)
- Thread for decoration (I’m using Kreinik #4 braid gold)
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Sewing needle
- Awl or pushpin to punch holes for stitching (if desired)
- Soft white eraser (to erase any visible lines if desired at the end, please make sure to test it on another piece of paper first so you don’t smudge the pencil)
Additional materials:
- Small hair dryer if you want the watercolour paint to dry faster
- paint palette (or a small plate)
- a few pots/jars/glasses to put water in
- an ink pen to write a message with after, or add additional decoration to the card
